I am new in this AD and all, so I don't know how to integrate new DNS server with existing AD. Please help me and tell me the steps to do it.
I have installed AD in one server (I skipped DNS installation in it) with the name abc.net, and then I installed DNS server in DIFFERENT server having the same name in Primary zone. Now I don't know how can I integrate this DNS server with AD coz when I try to make this server as a domain client of AD, then it shows an error stated "Domain Controller of the Domain abc.net could not be contacted. Ensure that the domain name is typed correctly." Both servers are successfully pinging each other by IP address and Netbios name... but NOT by FQDN. May be I am doing something or everything wrong.
Plz help me to sought out this problem.
