Dear All,

Good day for all

I face a problem my scenario as follow:

1- I have main site with Primary Active directory domain with windows server 2008 R2 with sub net 192.168.0.0

and the AD & DNS server ip is:192.168.0.3

and also my DNS server acting as Active directory integrated zone

2- I have also another branch site with sub net 192.168.1.0

3- I make a IPSec VPN connection between both site using fortigate firewall

4- I configured active directory site and services console with both site and already create asite link between both site the main and branch

5- I need to add the additional domain to the primary domain

6- I make the network configuration for the branch server as follow:

IP:192.168.1.4

SubNetMask:255.255.255.0

Default gate way: 192.168.1.1

Primary DNS:192.168.0.3

** my question is:

-Is there any thing missing in the configuration mentioned above?

-Is there any configuration that I should make it in the DHCP server?, and if yes be inform that I'll make for the Branch site its own DHCP server.

because when I was tray to add the additional AD to the primary site using DCPROMO i Face problem that the branch site could not resolve the IP address for the main site, when i come to the step to write the primary domain controller and the user name of the enterprise administrator and its password it scan for the primary DC and it not able to resolve it

Please I need your all help in this matter.
