Hello
In my scenario I have two 2008R2 servers, one primary and one secondary. (We have no branches), we have only one domain.
DC Principal:
SRVDC01
ip: 192.168.0.1
mask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.0.4
Preferred DNS 192.168.0.2 (secondary D.C.)
192.168.0.1 DNS Aternativo
Secondary DC:
SRVDC02
ip: 192.168.0.2
mask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.0.4
Preferred DNS 192.168.0.1 (main D.C.)
192.168.0.2 DNS Aternativo
3 - In my seasons this this way:
10-season:
ip: 192.168.0.110
mask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.0.4
Preferred DNS 192.168.0.1
192.168.0.2 DNS Aternativo
If the season I drop the name of the domain, eg:
ping register.local
1 - Always points to the Secondary DC, this correct?
2 - I wonder if the order of network adapters in DCs is correct, ie in both DCs point to another DC respectively.?
3 - I am following this order as indicated MBSA me, but not if it is correct, ie, do not know if I have some kind of latency, point out how the SRV01 SRV02 the main server, and vice versa
