Direct access Windows Server 2012 RemoteNetworkAuthenticationError
I'm geting Direct access Windows Server 2012 RemoteNetworkAuthenticationError from my DirectAccess (DA) clients or NameResolutionError
I'm trying to set up DirectAccess from Windows 2012 by using very similar steps to those inhttp://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29029
The only difference is that for my test lab I do not use an Intranet server App1 as this does not seem relevant to getting DA to connect. The simplified setup uses the DA server as the NLS from what I can gather
One other differences is that due the specifics of my lab environment (I'm hoping to demo this for training) is that the DA server is a Hyper-V host and the DC is a Virtual Machine. The DA server is joined to the domain successfully by using djoin as far as I can tell, however. The external and internal NICS for the DA server are on separate virtual switches
I am getting what looks like the infrastructure tunnel - client can ping 2002:836b:1c8::836b:1c8, wf.msc shows security associations and DA console shows client is connected. I suspect the problem is Ipv6 on my DC. Should it have an ISATAP connection? The DC shows ISATAP interface as disconnected. I have enabled globalNames - created the zone and removed ISATAP from the global block list. Any ideas?
