Network Card Shuts Down

Here is a question to all the DNS/Network Pros ;)

Every few days, one or more of the client machines on the same subnet loses connection to the network (both internal and public), and the only way to bring it back up is through network troubleshooting utility through "Diagnose" the adapter in the network connections within control panel. The only log entry that is recorded at the same time when it happens is this -

"Name resolution for the name _ldap._tcp.WLD._mysite.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded."

The Event ID number is 1014, source is DNS Client Events

DNS servers seem to be functioning OK as not all machines get affected at the same time, and this happens on one subnet only, and not all of them. Networking team are saying that the switch is not having any issues.

Any help would be appreciated!!
