DNSSEC and IPSEC troubles.

I have a windows Server 2012 domain. I follow this guide (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee649268(v=ws.10).aspx 'I know it is for 2K8R2 not 2K12') I follow that guide and when I do a gpupdate on my client, dns starts timing out when I do a lookup.  All I need to do is have dns communications secured with IPSEC.
