Love the DHCP failover for IPv4, but why can't we have it for Ipv6?
We will still have reservations and options in IPv6 DHCP, or is DHCP destined for extinction?
If we don't have failover we are back where we started in IPv4, with multiple scopes and systems all of a sudden changing IP address because a DHCP server is not there.
I am aware that the designers of IPv6 somehow think that we are going to let the network manage itself, but like the "self repairing computer" we are going to wait a long time.
Ideas and suggestions please - I really don't want to go back to fixed IP addresses.....
