two dhcp server in one subnet

Hi,
We have a small network with Small Business Server 2003 which has DC, DNS & DHCP services. The network was setup 6 years ago on old hardware which is near to end of life. We use 192.168.100.x range of ip addresses. There are about 15 workstations. The company name has been changed and boss wants me to setup a domain with new company name but still use the existing ip subnet.

While the existing network with SBS server is still running; I have installed a Server 2008 R2 (192.168.100.15) in to a brand new hardware and setup a domain controller with new domain name; dns services has been configured and running. I have also installed the dhcp services with a scope range from 192.168.100.100 - 192.168.100.200; the old server has scope of 192.168.100.20 - 192.168.100.90. Now for some reason the DHCP services in SBS has been stopped and event viewer says "The DHCP/BINL service on this computer running Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server has encountered another server on this network with  IP Address, 192.168.100.15, belonging to the domain:."

If I try to start the dhcp service on SBS then it wont start at all whereas If I go and stop the dhcp service in Server 2008 R2 then the SBS dhcp service starts.

I would like to run both dhcp server side by side so that existing workstations can get ip and dns informations and slowly one at a time remove the workstations from old domain and join to new domain.

Please let me know if I doing something wrong here, your help will be much appreciated on this.
