Migrate DHCP service from Server 2003 to Server 2012 DC

Hi I we hav a network with followings:
Server 2012 - DC + DNS (Physical) - ip 192.168.1.15
Server 2008 R2 - DC + DNS (Virtual) - ip 192.168.1.20
Server 2003 - DHCP (Physical) - ip 192.168.1.10
Few layer 2 & 3 HP Procurve switches.

I am looking to migrate dhcp services to Server 2012 and decomission Server 2003. I am planning to go following route but I am not sure whether it is correct way:

1. stop dhcp server service on Server 2003 then use netsh to export the dhcp db.
2. stop dhcp service on Server 2012, rename dhcp.mdb to dhcp.mdb.old then use netsh to import the dhcp db.
3. In layer 3 switch change the IP Helper Address for all the vlans to point to the new dhcp server ip.
4. In layer 3 switch change the access list line for port 67 to point to the new dhcp server ip.
5. start the dhcp server service on Server 2012.
6. disjoin the Server 2003 from domain and power it off.

Once Server 2003 is off, can I use its ip address (192.168.1.10) and configure it as second ip on Server 2012 ?

Beside layer 3 switches (vlans & access list); Is there any other device that may be pointing to dhcp server ip ?

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
