I just setup a new Server 2012 DC on a VM. I am trying to setup DHCP. I exported the DHCP database from our old 2003 DC and imported it into the new DHCP database. When I am in the wizard trying to specify the credentials used to authorize the DHCP server in AD DS, I get the error Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
The computer account of the new DC I am trying to add is a member of the DNSUpdateProxy group. The DHCP account has rights to log on to All computers. The DHCP account has rights to Log on as a service in the Local Security Policy - User Rights Assignment. There are no accounts in any of the Deny log on User Rights Assignment.
Anyone have a fix for this?
