Some of our PC's will not register with DNS unless I specify a Primary DNS suffix. That being said, some of them do not have the primary DNS suffix specified, and still register their A records correctly. We're running a AD Integrated zone
at our primary site, and our branch sites we're running secondary DNS servers. Secure and non secure updates are allowed. Anyone have any ideas why a handful of PC's at some of these sites are not registering DNS without a primary suffix?
This might be a dumb question.
