I currently have the following on my network
192.168.0.0/22 - currently but want to migrate to 192.168.2.0/23. In the migration process there will be a time where part of the network will be on the old subnet and the rest in the new subnet. Since we have two different subnets my understanding was that we would need to somehow route the traffic between subnets.
Current situation - Both the subnets are able to see to each other without a router. Its great news that it is working however I would like to know how and why this is working.
