I need to migrate DHCP from 2 old Server 2003 servers to 2 2012 Servers. Currently the scopes are split between the two 2003 servers. What I would like to do is combine the split scopes into 1 and setup load-balancing in 2012. I've read the documentation on how to setup Load-Balancing and that seems pretty straight forward. However I'm not sure the proper way to migrate the leases over to the new server?
I only wanted to do 1 scope at a time. Should I just the duration for 1 hour, then De-activate the scope on the 2003 server and activate the scope on the 2012 server?
