Should I use DNS forwarding to speed up browsing for internal network?

Hello,

I'm having problem of slow browsing over internal network and wanted to know from DNS gurus here that should I use DNS forwarding to speed up internet for my LAN users? Actually I have setup ISA and now they are connected to internet through ISA (securenat clients) but they started complaining that internet browsing is slow or didn't improved because they were connected directly to router before.

After reading posts it seems people are using DNS forwarding to speed up browsing. So I did it this way:

I have two internal DNS servers in my domain and users are configured with my local DNS servers as primary and secondary.

I have setup DNS forwarding to OpenDNS servers on my Primary DNS server.

I have setup DNS forwarding to Google public dns servers on mySecondary DNS server.

And unchecked "Use root hints if no forwarders are available".

I didn't put my ISPs DNS servers because I heard they are crappy and it is good to not to point to them.

Wanted to know will it increase browsing speed on internal network? Is it a good practice what I did? Please suggest/correct so It can help me to increase internet speed. As I'm not that expert on DNS and I'm sure here are many DNS gurus. :)

Thanks and I really appreciate it.
