I am tyring to set up Direct Access on a Windows Server 2012 R2 server. I have run through all the configuration steps and in trying to Finish the configuration, the following error is thrown:
Error: The network location server certificate exists, but the subject name of the certificate does not resolve to the internal IP address of the Remote Access server.
The certificate, issued from their internal enterprise CA, has a CN with nls.contoso.com (name changed to protect the innocent). This hostname in internal DNS resolves to 172.17.3.103, the address of the server's internal NIC (there is only one NIC; this will sit behind a firewall).
Any ideas what I should look at or change?
