This is the problem I am having. I am currently trying to build a lab. I have two Computers each are Hyper-V I am trying to set them both up in different vLans.
HyperVB has a dhcp relay with two nics. One internal and one external HyberVA has the DHCP server with one nic and two scopes. I Conifgured HyperVB with the HDCP Relay by going to RRAS and Turning on DHCP Relay Agent. I Installed the New Interface as the internal which is supposed to be fore the internal network. I then right click DHCP Relay and added the DHCP address on the other hyperv box. I am able to ping the dhcp box from the dhcp relay through the other nic which is the external
The problem is that the DHCP server isn't answering request. I must be doing something wrong. If this is at all confusing please let me no wand I will try my best to explain.
