Problem with browsing shared folders of and ping to newly installed server

Hi,

Recently I have setup a new server. In fact I have changed its  OS from win2k3 to win2k8r2sp1 plus an increase to its disk space. I have two ranges of IP addresses on the network, 192.168.1.0/22 and 10.0.0.0/24. The mensioned server is the network file server. I had no problem connecting to this server, browsing its shared folders and pinging it from both IP address ranges as long as its OS was win2k3, But from the moment I changed its OS to win2k8r2, computers with 10.0.0.0/24 IP addresses lost their connection with this server. The servers IP address is 192.168.1.56. All the IP configurations are same as the time its OS was win2k3.

To be more detailed following are IP configurations of the machines I am talking about:

                             File server (win2k3 before and win2k8r2 now)                                   now Problematic client

IP address                192.168.1.56                                                                                                10.0.0.12

Mask                          255.255.252.0                                                                                              255.255.255.0

Gateway                   192.168.1.254  <----both are set on same router's interface----->   10.0.0.254

DNS1                        192.168.1.53        (Domain controller and DNS)                                    192.168.1.53

DNS2                        192.168.1.52                                                                                                 192.168.1.52

No changes are applied to the router and firewall of the mentioned server is off and it is a member server of the domain like as before.

Can anybody help me with the problem?

Also this is the link of another question I asked yesterday.

TIA

Bijan
