in my organization we have DNS on all of our DCs, we have 4 DC at our main location and at least 1 at each site locatoin, with some sites having 2 or 3. our total foot print is about 1000 End points. We also have 3 Bind Servers which our windows DNS use as forwarders
My question;
what is considered best practice in regards to how many DNS servers are in a site/domain, and what would be the potential drawback to this configuration?
