Unexpected network disconnection when Windows Server 2012R2 meets ADSL/PPPoE

Greeting everyone.

I am evaluating the Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter OS on my laptop.

The hardware specification can found at this link:

http://mobile-computers.tech-specs.com/apple-macbook-pro-mc375-n57569875

My network card is Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet:

The hardware ID is:

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1684&SUBSYS_168414E4&REV_10

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1684&SUBSYS_168414E4

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1684&CC_020000

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1684&CC_0200

The driver I installed is:

Driver Data: 8/6/2013

Driver Version: 16.2.0.4

Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher.

I have also turned off the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.

The symptom is when I connected to the Internet using the ADSL, my network connection will lose response in a random period. This is totally unpredictable. And I had also tried to disable the Ethernet card and re-enable it. However, this only made things worse: even the device manager hang up. And then I tried to reboot my laptop, the OS stayed in the screen saying “rebooting” for more than one hour. The only thing I could do was forcing to power off my computer.

This issue doesn’t come out on Windows 8.1/Windows 7 SP1/Windows Server 2008R2.

Can anyone tell me why and give me some help? Thank you very much in advance.
