Routing using Server 2012 R

My environment is this:

1 physical hyper-v server with a single NIC connected to an internet router. Hyper-v has two networks defined, one that is internal only and the other external bound to the NIC in the host.

1 virtual server 2012 R2 domain controller with two NICs, one connected to each of the two virtual switches. This domain controller has RRAS, DHCP and DNS roles installed. DHCP is bound to the NIC connected to the internal LAN and it's handing out the IP of the internally connected NIC as a router (default gateway) This server can successfully reach the internal clients and the Internet.

1 member server getting it's IP and DNS settings from DHCP on the domain controller. This server can reach the DC, it cannot surf the internet however it does resolve internet names to IP addresses.

I have gone through the RRAS configuration wizard and selected LAN Routing as the only option.

Why can't my member server browse the internet? I assume it's something misconfigured in RRAS but I don't know what.
