I have a Mac Pro server setup and bound to Active Directory. When I run NSLookup command: encsd3, I get SERVFAIL. If I run command nslookup: <ip address of server> it resolves. On the DNS server, reverse lookup zone, I created a static PTR named
10.100.0.24, encsdmacpro.domain.net. Why is it not resolving the name?
