Does anyone know if it matters which IPv6 we use for DirectAccess? We don't have IPv6 deployed internally and don't plan to deploy it anytime soon, so I don't the need to learn IPv6 yet. But our DirectAccess server requires a static IPv6 address on the internal adapter and I'm not sure what to use. The DA server has 2 adapters and is behind a NAT, so it's not directly on the IPv6 Internet. The TechNet labs configure the internal adapter with an IP address of 2001:db8:1::2 which I think is the shorthand notation for 2001:0db8:0001:0000:0000:0000:0000:0002
It's working with that but we'd like to know if using that address could cause problems later when we deploy IPv6. Thanks!
