I've got some problems with a DNS forwarding.
My company's intranett-site is hosted by another company. When I ping the address: intranett, i do get answer from a 2000 server which are running on our site (let's name the address "X"). If I try to open the web-page (http://intranett), I'm redirected to (http://intranett.'ourcompany'.no). If I ping this address, I'll get another address (address Y).
Do anyone of you know where this could be set in an 2000 server? The DNS option is not activated on this server!
If I try to create a DNS record (test_intranett) on our DNS server (with the redirected address Y), I come to a website to another company.
I'm trying to figure out how to solve this, because I want to shut down the 2000 server!
Anyone with a solution?
