I have DirectAccess setup and working inside my network and can verify this on a win8 ent eval by doing get-daconnectionstatus which says connected locally, this is when i am also connected to my vpn. If i disconnect from my vpn it changes to error CouldNotContactDirectAccessServer,
however the connection still works. I can ping and browse network file shares and whatnot but if I click on the networks icon in the system tray it says connecting and just stays at that. Is there some other port that needs forwarded besides 443?
