Running 2008R2 domain with 2008R2 servers. Sometimes I run perfmon and choose to get either a blg or csv file and everything works as intended. Sometimes I come back and my results are broken up into multiple cab files. I usually want to put the results through the PAL tools to analyze the differences over a few days, so I typically only gather results every 15 minutes. I understand that perfmon log files can really grow and cause problems and that there are options for the number of samples and log file size to control that growth. I also understand that I can use relog to combine blg files together, but does anyone know what default threshold it has to hit before it starts splitting those files up and having multiple cab files? If I manually set a higher maximum log file size, can I keep it from splitting those results up and putting them in cab files?
