Hello all,
I just got hands on a Domain Controller of a very small company and when I opened the DNS console on it I was very suprised to see the "same" server listed twice. SRVPARDC1 and SRVPARDC1.mydomain.fr
As it can be seen on the picture attached, it is listed once in shortname and once in FQDN.
Is this an issue ? Or is it a normal behavior I am not aware of ? If not what would be the best way to proceed to remediate it ?
