'There is no logon server available to proccess your request'

Friends,

I have recently been placed incharge of several servers in a domain that has not been maintained at all over the past 5-6 years. While attempting to remotely connect to a Windows Server 2k8 R2 using a Domain account, it gives me the error 'No logon servers are available to service the logon request.' however, I can remote in using the local Admin account. The Primary Domain Controler is running Windows Server 2k R2, and the DNS on the 2k8 server points to the PDC. After attempting to leave the domain and re-enter, I either get the error 'The following error occurred attempting to join the domain"xx': The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded', or the network path was not found.

I would like to appologize in advance for asking a question that has already been asked multiple times, however, I can not emulate their results while trying to remedy the issue. If you could spare the time, please help me troubleshoot through this issue.

Many thanks,

Ed.
