DNS Server Event Log Entries Do Not Contain Data

We have mixed mode environment with DNS running on Server 2008R2 DCs and 2003 DCs. DNS appears to be running fine everywhere and I can review all of the event viewer logs on all but one DNS Server in the Domain. On one (2008R2), every entry reads the following:

Log Name:      DNS Server

Source:        Microsoft-Windows-DNS-Server-Service

Date:          6/19/2012 9:55:25 PM

Event ID:      Various

Task Category: None

Level:         Information

Keywords:      Classic

User:          N/A

Computer:      XXXXXX

Description:

The description for Event ID 4 from source Microsoft-Windows-DNS-Server-Service cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The event ID's all vary but every entry states that the component is not installed or the installation is corrupt.

I have looked at the DNS Role and it's installed and looks fine, there is no event forwarding configured and DCDiag /test:dns runs clean.

What else can I look at? I'm not finding much online other then issues with this when forwarding events, which we are not doing. Any help would be great appreciated.
