Hi,
I have an AD domain with all servers running Windows Server 2012. DNS servers on network adapter is pointed to my two internal DNS servers (so that hostnames/IPs of the internal servers can resolve correctly). If I go to advanced, there is no additional DNS server(s) set up there.
DNS configuration itself is pretty basic with just forward/reverse lookup zones of the servers on the domain.
Enough of the background :) , now the problem: Every time I try to go on the internet from the server (I know, a security risk but I am implementing protection), most websites don't work (get messages about check internet connectivity when I try to download a file, etc).
My hosting provider has provided me with the host's default DNS servers to use. Do I need to specify this somewhere to get internet access?
There is no firewall or proxy in place so the issue is more than likely to do with pure DNS. Hosts file on every server is as default.
Thanks
