I have Windows2008 DC and DHCP on same server.
Earlier the DHCP server service was running on default "Local System Account". I have changed the DHCP server service to run under an AD account. I have created a service account and made it member of DHCP Administrators group. After this change service started successfully and I can see from DHCP logs that all functionalities are working fine. But I am unable to manage from DHCP console. If I expand the server under console I am getting a red icon (as similar road signal) on top of the server and in the right pane "There is no items to show in this view". I have also tried to manage this server from another DHCP server's console, but getting the same error.
If I revert back the service to run under default "Local system account" then I am able to manage the server through console.
Any idea what needs to be done to fix this?
