Hi, I have just setup a single Win2012R2 Box With Direct Access, to a customer who has split-dns.
That works, but then I struggle with all the exeptions in the NRPT.
For example: www.domain.com (the external website of the customer) is added to NRPT, so it should resolve locally. And if I do a nslookup on a DA Client on external network, it resolves to the correct Public IP. But I cannot browse the webpage it self when DA is active. I have around 30 other hostnames added to the NRPT.
Should I not be able to browse www.domain.com on an external DA Client? The Client shows that the hostname is added to the NRPT (netsh namspace show effectivepolicy).
