Situation: I had two Domain Controllers with DHCP Failover configured as Hot Standby. One of them had to be removed from the AD because corrupt ntds-database. So I set up a new server, same name as the server before, everything is fine.
Problem: After i installed the DHCP role, i now want to set up the DC2 as the standby dhcp again. On DC1 the DHCP Failover is still configured but shows me "Partner down" which is correct.
Question: But how can i get DC2 (partner) in the failover with the least amount of time?
