I'm having problems with DNS registration from computers on a new subnet I've added to my lab. Everything else is working on the new subnet (DNS lookups, domain joins, internet access etc) but I can't get the DNS registration working.
Subnet 1 has the DC's running DNS (all are Server 2012). Everything working ok.
Subnet 2 has member servers with static IP's (all are Server 2012 R2). Everything working ok except DNS registration.
Subnets are connected through a Draytek router. Firewall is turned off.
I'm getting event id 8015 on the servers on Subnet 2. Nothing on the DC event logs.
I've enabled DNS logging on the DC's. Everything appears normal and there are queries from Subnet 2, but there are no updates showing from it. Updates are showing from Subnet 1.
I'm feeling I've missed something really simple, anyone got any ideas?
