I have a Windows 2008R2 domain with Win7 clients. I know there are a lot of Microsoft articles about 5719 netlogon errors "No domain controller could be found", but my question is why do I always see this on wireless networks. All of my computers have a wireless policy that specified a corporate 802.x network that they should join automatically as their first preference on boot. If I login quickly or slowly that always seems to be working correctly, and I am connected to my network over wireless, but I still have 5719 errors in the event logs. Does anyone know if that is normal? I have tried a few of the Microsoft workarounds, in the KB below, to try and remove this message. The first was setting the GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue to 60 and I also tried the hotfix for the non-Microsoft DHCP relay not being used, the ExpectedDialUp delay and none of those make a difference. Does anyone know if this is normal and that domain computers will always get a 5719 when on wireless even though they have a computer policy telling the computer to join a corporate wireless network? The 5719 does not show in the event logs when on wired networks
