VPN setup on Windows 2008 R2

I have a client who is running two separate forest/domains. Both of them are on the same network i.e. 192.168.1.0/24

One is .local to which all desktops (around 35) are joined to. This network is providing most of the file and print etc. services and some other development work.

On the other side/forest there is a .COM domain, which connected to Office 365 (for email and office apps) and also has ERP (Dynamics GP).

Eventually .local will be removed (I am in the process of looking at all .local services and moving them to .com side) and then at the end move remove machines from .local to workgroup and then join .com.

The question is I have to setup a VPN server on .local side (have a domain joined W2008 R2) with 2 NICS. Is it possible that remote users after login to VPN (presumably on .local domain), can also see/access shared server resources on the .COM side?

Thanks,

Ashok
