I installed Server 2012 and added the remote access role (VPN Only). The remote manager service was disabled so I changed it to manual and started the service. Remote access starts and accepts clients but after a while everything disconnects and the service stops because the remote manager service has reset back to disable.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the role several times but it keeps happening. I checked event logs but there is no clue as to why it is resetting to disable. If I re-enable the service, remote access starts again and accepts clients but after a while remote service manager resets again to disable.
Anyone have any ideas what i going on?
