DNS Record Permissions - how do I add the SERVERNAME$ permission ?

Hi all,

I have a situation where a load of my 2003 servers were upgraded o 2008 R2 last year. I need to tidy up the DNS entries and have noticed these servers do not have a recent timestamp but the servers are set to register in DNS.

After a bit of sniffing around, I can see the DNS record permissions cannot resolve the SERVERNAME$ account - I suspect from where the Servers were upgraded and the DNS records never updated. How do I add the SERVERNAME$ account to the ACL to give it permission ?
