Direct Access 2012 - Windows 7 Ent clients- Logon script mapping drives

Our users are mapping drives through logon vbs script that executes via GPO. We are seeing that sometimes when the users don’t have a reliable connection or they logon without internet connectivity (no DA and cached credentials) the script doesn’t run (is a logon script) and they lose their mapping drives and they will not get reconnected automatically. The typical scenario that we are seeing is that they close their laptop lid and then when they open it back their mapping drivers might not there and will not be there until they reboot their computer with internet connectivity in place

That being said, I was wondering if you have heard or know a way to get the drives mapped whenever the DA client is able to reattach itself to the DA servers and establish the communication. Or any other way that that we can get this problem solved without having them to restart or log off and logon.
