DHCP Load Sharing across two data centres

Hi,

I'm looking at implementing DHCP Load Sharing (using 2012 R2 DHCP) across two data centres.

Client sites will be configured with two DHCP IP Helper addresses so the request will be broadcast in both data centres. The data centres are linked by a fast reliable WAN connection.

The load balanced scopes will be configured in a 50\50 split.

Any reasons why this solution shouldn't work or be implemented?
