We have an issue with our setuped VPN environment of RRAS 2012 and MS Azure.
We have created MS Azure VPN service, downloaded the powershell script that configures RRAS and executed it against our RRAS 2012 environment. Everything is fine and working well - the VPN connects and users are able to reach MS Azure resources.
However, on a random daily intervals, the VPN connection gets disconnected with this strange behavior:
- The RRAS server does not indicate any issues - it's status is "Connected"
- The Azure portal shows "Disconnected" status.
There are no obvious errors on the RRAS server and when we try to reconnect the VPN manually, it cannot connect anymore.
Only reboot of the RRAS server helps.
Do you have any ideas what can we do?
We have tried to enable debugging, to tune these settings:
Network outage time: 15s -> 2m; Redial Attempts: 3 -> 10
But no effect.
We will appreciate any thoughts on that issue.
