Hello All
I'm trying to understand GlobalName, and I'm now confused! as when you create the GlobalName Zone then the next step is to create the cname record which will do the same job if you create the cname inside Froward lookup zone either.
in my test lab , I created a cname for my FQNS which is called intranet, which is working fine! even I don't have GlobalName zone
so why we need to have GlobalName Zone ? can some one explain to me.. I did some reading I didn't get it , so if you can explain it in a simple example it will be great.
