Hello, so i am planning on taking a few MS exams soon and want to set up a kind of practice lab environment at my home. Im looking to turn my home pcs and equipment, and put them on my own little network.
I just need a little help sorting out my networking. Basic stuff that i should really know tbh.
My plan
Router - 192.168.0.1/24
Domain controller - eth0 192.168.0.3/24 eth1 192.168.1.4/24
Ill be putting a DHCP on the DC to assign client machines IPs within the scope 192.168.0.50-254/24
SCCM (Virtual machine) - eth0 192.168.0.5/24 eth1 192.168.1.5/24
Exchange - no external emails (virtual machine) - eth0 192.168.1.6/24
PC - eth0 192.168.0.50
as its a small internal network, im wanting to have minimal pcs connected to the internet. hence why exchange isnt. my router only provides the one network, 192.168.0.1/24
Do you guys see any issues with this? Im planning on giving it a go this weekend, but would appreciate your feedback on any issues or how i can go about this better.
