Since for about 2 weeks our IP phones can't get the DHCP/DNS registration work, if we set static IP address, gw,DNS .. it works fine. Have tested to set a NPS Network Policy with condition tab "Calling Station ID" entry to the MAC address.
Q1. What is the format of tha MAC address specification:
XX:XX..
XXXXX.
or XX-XX
Q2. How to specify multiple MAC addresses for about 30 IP phones. Read some articles about bug in regexp not possible to use and so on.
Ex. ^111111111111$ should match this"11..." MAC address
Please give me a hint how to handle "unknown dhcp clients" with no LAN configuration, before this problem did occur we just connected the IP phone and it did connect to the configuration server ( external ISP/Telephone switchboard server ). THe firewall settings is as before wit hthe right ports to our T-ISP. The LAN topology is VLAN with inter VLAN routing working fine ( no firewall between clients and the DNS/DHCP server domain server/s.
