I recently deployed our first 2012 domain controller. I am now noticing that there appears to be a local profile created for each and every AD member (most of whom have never logged directly onto the local machine). We do not use roaming profiles. This is not the case on our 2008 DC. In the User Profile applet, all of these profiles appear as <Account Unknown> (except the ones that actually have logged on locally). Each of these individuals has a folder in c:\users named with the AD account name.
Is there a setting I messed up during the deploy? Is this a new "feature" of 2012 DC? Can I safely delete these local profiles from the DC? Help...............(google is not)
