We currently have Direct Access deployed in our Production domain/sub net. We have two domains- Production and Training. We would like DA to work across both domains just like it does inside our firewall. We have a one way trust relationship setup between Production and Training. When using DA this trust relationship does not work. I can not ping computername.training.com as I can inside our firewall. However I can ping computername.production.com just fine. DA works just fine accessing production resources.
I attempted to add Training.com DNS/DNS Suffix Search List to the Infrastructure Server Setup (Step 3). Added the name suffix and the IP of our Training DNS server but this did not work.
What are next steps/is this possible? Do I need to configure another DA server on the Training domain and then somehow connect it to the DA server on the Production network? Do I need to assign another Training network adapter to the current DA on Production with a static IP from the Training domain/sub net?
DA is currently deployed using 1 network adapter. Firewall setup is a NAT rule setup from public IP to internal LAN IP on Port: 443. We are a bit new to DA so hopefully these are the correct questions and enough information was provided.
