NAT and VPN tunnel in RRAS to SonicWall

I've been attempting to create a VPN tunnel between an RRAS server that was previously setup for NAT and a sonicwall TZ at another office.

I'm able to create and connect the tunnel without problems and both sites can access resources on either side.

The problem I'm having is that if NAT is then setup after the fact, the tunnel connects but resources on either of the 2 sites can no longer communicate.

To create the tunnel, on the RRAS server, I only configured RRAS as Custom with only LAN Routing. I then created a tunnel from the Connection Security Rules in Windows Firewall with Advanced Security.

For this configuration of RRAS the tunnel seems to connect properly to my sonicwall (or any other VPN router).

The problem occurs when I go back to RRAS, then right click IPv4>General>New Routing Protocol>NAT and setup the public adapter.

Is this setup possible?
