DNS servers not updating records with each other

I have 3 DNS servers (2012R2) and the problem is the records aren't the same on all 3 servers.  For example if I remote on DNS1 and do a ping -a 10.10.10.5 it will resolve to the name of the computer.  If I remote into DNS2 server and do the ping -a 10.10.10.5 it just returns the 4 replies that it can ping it put can't resolve to a name.  Same thing if I go to DNS3 it won't resolve the name.  2 of the DNS servers are in the same location, the third is about 4 miles away at another location. When I go and check the records (Forward Lookup Zones)  on one of the DNS1 servers it has 300 records recorded, DNS2 has 250, and DNS3 has 264.  All are configured Active Directory-Integrated, all have Zone Transfers setup to allow zone transfers to all servers in the name servers tab and in the name servers tab is a list of all 3 DNS servers.  This is setup on all 3 DNS servers the same way.  Can any tell me why they don't all have all the same records?  And more importantly how to force them do append to each other or get them the same.
