Hello,
Recently I've setup a Network Policy Server with RADIUS configured access points in our domain. Domain users can log into the Wi-Fi network and the connection seems to be working fine. However, when a laptop is signed out or restarts the connection is lost and the user has to fill in their credentials to sign in to the Wi-Fi network again. Is this normal? And is there a way for the device to remember the Wi-Fi credentials?
I think it has something to do with a certificate error since laptops get the following message when connecting to the Wi-Fi: "If you expect to find [wireless SSID name] in this location, go ahead and connect. Otherwise, it may be a different network with the same name". The certificate I issue is self generated on the Windows server (SHA256) and is also added in the Secure Wireless Connections policy in the Network Policy Server. Maybe i need to buy a certificate from a 3rd party?
Hopefully someone understands this better than I do because i can't seem to figure it out.
Thank you in advance,
Brian
