Hi, Iam a Network administrator in a company.
I have a problem in my network, I google a lot and do what ever Microsoft told step by step.
But my issue never fixed.
so here is the issue: Network discovery Problem in my network L
I can’t see all my networks in my network list always. Some times you have all computers and some times I can see at last 5 computers and some times 7 computers.
If any clients rest their system it may appear. Some times I just enable/disable the network card and see issue has gone. All system are in a same work place.
All services for network discovery,Computer bowers and DNS Services are running and checked.
- - I have a work group infrastructure for 30 users. ( I know Microsoft recommend we should use work group for Max=15 users)
- - Clients OS are 7,10, IMAC OS X 10.11: El Capitan
- - File-server which is my main server has windows server 2003 OS.
- - Pfsence as firewall and some other Servers.
- - All IP set static ( in WIN option as Microsoft recommend for those who use static IP , Enable Net-bios over TCP/IP selected.)
- -Use Avira free version antivirus
- - Cabling Network
- -Turn on network discovery and file sharing is enabled in all clients
I think the Issue is because of My server Version and my Clients OS.
But I need advice...
