I have recently set up a file server running Server 2008 R2 and have bit of a problem with remote users accessing it. With 2003 R2 users were able to start their VPN client and access the file server via IP address, but with 2008 R2 they cannot do this even if there is an entry in the hosts file. I am currently stuck as how to solve this issue - I would welcome any input from forum members.
